🏐 Muraoka Volleyball Assessments – Important Information
We’re excited to kick off our volleyball season with assessments scheduled for Monday, September 15th through Thursday, September 18th. Students in grades 4–6 are eligible to participate, and we encourage all interested athletes to come ready to show their skills and teamwork!
📄 Waiver Requirement To participate, students must submit a signed waiver prior to assessments. Waivers will be available to pick up in the front office or on Ms. Brenda’s office door. Once completed, please return the waiver to Ms. Brenda. No exceptions will be made, so please ensure this is turned in on time.
✂️ Assessment & Cuts Schedule
  • Day 1 (Sept. 15): No cuts will be made. This day is focused on skill evaluation and team dynamics.
  • Days 2 - 4 (Sept. 16–18): Cuts will be made based on performance, attitude, and coach evaluations. Students who are selected to continue the process will be notified by 6:00 pm to their parents' email. We will also post a list on the door by the library. 
📋 Team Selection
  • The final roster of students who will represent Muraoka will be posted/shared on Thursday, September 18th.
  • Our competitive team will consist of no more than 12 players.
  • We may also invite up to 8 additional students to join our practice squad. Please note, practice squad members will not participate in games but will train alongside the team to build skills and experience.

How to sign up:

  • Register through Jumbula (Club Name: Intramural Volleyball ASsessment).
  • submit a hard copy of the waiver to participate on the first day of assessments (Hard Copy waivers available at the front office or on the LEAD office door).
  • Waiver must be submitted in order to participate in the assessments and the club.

Assessment Information:

  • Day 1: No Cuts will be made. This day is focused on skill evaluation and team dynamics.
  • Day 2-4: Cuts will be made based on performance, attitude, and coach evaluations. Students who are selected to continue the process will be notified each day by 6:00 pm via their parents' email. We will also post a list DAILY on the door by the library.
  • fINAL rOSTER WILL CONSIST OF NO MORE THAN 12 PLAYERS.
  • wE MAY INVITE UP TO 8 STUDNETS TO PARTICIPATE oN OUR pRACTICE sQUAD. (tHESE STUDENTS WILL NOT PARTICIPATE IN GAMES.)

Additional Information:

  • CVESD Lead Intramural League runs October 14th through December 18th.
  • Volleyball Game days are on tuesdays and/or wednesdays between 4:00-6:00pm
  • Volleyball games will be held at various locations
  • transportation will not be provided. Students will need to have transportation to and from games
  • uniforms are provided by LEAD Sports. These will need to be returend at the end of the season.


Restrictions

Participants must currently be in grades 4 to 6.

Registration starts on 09/02/2025 and ends on 09/15/2025.
