The Ballet Folklórico Club invites students in grades 1–6 to celebrate the beauty and tradition of Mexican culture through dance. Students will learn age‑appropriate folklórico steps, rhythms, and choreography inspired by different regions of Mexico. Along the way, they’ll build coordination, confidence, teamwork, and cultural pride.
Throughout the semester, dancers will practice basic footwork, skirt movements, posture, and musicality in a supportive and encouraging environment. No prior dance experience is necessary—just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
At the end of each semester, students will showcase their hard work in a special performance for families and friends, highlighting the vibrant dances and traditions they’ve explored.
The Ballet Folklórico Club is a joyful space for students to express themselves, stay active, and connect with culture through the art of dance.
Participants must currently be in grades 1 to 6.
Registration starts on 02/27/2026 and ends on 03/16/2026.
